More About me
In 1999, A keen interest in movies and television stirs my own creativity and ideas begin rolling around in my brain. I put pen to paper with a new twist on the action comedy and lawyer movie genre. I enlisted the help of my friend Rexford Cooley as a co-writer. We finished “Vigilante Lawyers” and wrote the follow up “Fugitive Lawyers” also, “Battleground Malibu” I have completed my own screenplays and continue to collaborate with Rexford. We have received actionable feedback on “Adam, Steve & Eve from various organizations like the Blacklist, Coverfly and various screenwriting competitions and made some of the changes recommended to us.

Welcome to James M. Denton.com

The most important thing I have learned in 25 years of writing, is that adaptability is essential. It is why I have learned to write for different mediums. A film script to a play script and vice versa. Episodic television for a three camera series (studio audience) and a single camera series (No audience)

Adaptability allows for a broader marketing opportunity. A play that was originally written as a film might first find success in a local theater, something I have been and continue to do.  I have found some success, you will see it as you explore my site.

Their is a story behind every story I have written. It's long journey from an idea in my head to a finished product. It is quite the endeavor, turning an idea into a polished product, but one that I enjoy very much and will continue to do. Read about my stories and their journeys to reality here. Thank you for visiting. Tell a friend and come back often. My story continues!
